| Envirokids is
a fun and educational way for kids of all ages to
learn about important environmental issues. It contains articles, activity
pages and class projects which we use along with our mascot 'Captain Enviro'
to help reinforce important issues like acid rain, forests, the ozone layer,
composting and recycling. In response to the ever increasing fuel and electrical costs, we are featuring a section on ways of cutting down on energy use in the home. The Enviro Kid Guide comes out in conjunction with Earth Day in April and it is distributed free to the kids through schools, daycares and various Environmental Festivals, which are held around the province during the Spring and Summer months. Because the books are distributed for free, we rely on the advertising support of the business community to make the project a success. |
